A little about me

Questions:

Q: Why did you choose real estate as a profession?
A: I believe in business that is conducted ethically and efficiently and, above all, where all parties understand what is happening during the whole process. I’ve spent many years in customer service, sales, and management but it wasn’t until I bought my first home that the passion I have for the industry took flame and I recognized the need I could fill. I saw that buyers and sellers both, while they nod their head in understanding at closing, are really just catching the wave of information being thrown at them and after it washes them up on shore they really aren’t sure what just hit them; at least that is what my experience was like. Too often have I heard similar stories from my peers. I have spent many years serving clients in different capacities and it is my hope that I can bring the same dedication to my future clients so they never have to feel the way I did when buying or selling their home.

Q: What has been most challenging about this journey so far? A: This industry has many challenges, but one challenge for me that stands out the most is overcoming the negative stigma real estate agents have in the eyes of their potential clients. Too many people have had bad or mediocre experiences when they have bought or sold a home and are hesitant to trust anyone; understandably so! Since the main reason I started my career in real estate is to combat this exact dilemma it is sometimes disheartening to see the distrust. If there is one thing I want my clients to know it's that I am committed to delivering a positive experience they can look back on fondly. After all, buying or selling a home is a major life event and that is something I appreciate.

Q: What advice do you give customers that they probably won't hear anywhere else?
A: In the big world of real estate it can be easy to get swept up by a beautiful house that might be out of budget or get antsy waiting for offers to come in on a property you just listed. I advise my clients to remain S.M.A.R.T. when buying or selling their homes. This clever little acronym helps keep everyone involved focused on the main goal. Whatever that goal may be! I help you develop your unique S.M.A.R.T. goal and together, we achieve results! S.M.A.R.T. stands for: Specific Measurable Attainable Relevant Time-Bound My philosophy is that if we keep the goals S.M.A.R.T. and keep it in focus we will achieve the results we want!

Q; What has been the most rewarding part of being an agent
A: My philosophy is that we rise by lifting others; I got into this business for my future clients. I want to help and guide people who are putting some skin into the real estate game for the first time to learn how to grow their wealth. After all, real estate is one of the best investments you can make and it's arguably one of the best ways to grow your wealth! Watching people turn their financial situation around so they can provide themselves and their families stability is, hands down, the most rewarding part of this career.

Q: What do you believe makes you different from other agents?
A: I believe that every client is unique and has different needs and it is my passion and pleasure to identify those needs and deliver results. I am committed to providing an open line of communication to all my clients so I can truly be a resource to them! Over the years I have learned that people don’t want to be mindless customers. They want to be informed and very much a part of the process; especially when they are making a major purchase or executing a major sale. I am committed to ensuring all of my clients sell or buy with confidence.
